The new Millenium inspired me to go back to basics and recreate some of the
traditional scary creatures in new and improved versions. We attended a private party
for this year's Halloween festivities and wore the new Lady Lucifer and Satan
Other characters in attendance were Elvis, Space Cowboy, Gypsy, Witch,
1776 Colonial couple, Hawaiian Chieftain, and many, many more. It was a great
party filled with dancing, fortune telling, good company and lots of exotic
food and drink. And despite the open bar, not one person fell in the pool!
Though I haven't yet worn it, for 2000 I just had to make one new cartoon
character (one of my favorites... beep beep!) from an old long out-of-print
pattern acquired this year. (It took me awhile to find a fabric store that
carried blue fake fur!)
